HTC Announcements 8/23/15

Announcements

The flowers on the Altar for this Holy Eucharist are given to the Glory of God and in loving memory of June Goodman, from her husband, Fr. Bob Goodman.

Anglicans for Life will have a brief meeting today following the service.

Watch an Hour Prayer is held every Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am in the Sanctuary. Its purpose is to pray for Holy Trinity, its leadership, its ministries, and the needs of its people, expanding prayer from there to the whole wide world, that HTC would continue to be a lighthouse shining Jesus’ truth to illuminate the world’s darkness. All who feel the call of intercession are warmly welcomed!

The School of Healing Prayer Level I will be offered this Fall, starting on September 10 through December 10. This 13 week DVD Class, taught by Francis & Judith MacNutt, founders of Christian Healing Ministries & Training Center, will be led by Bishop Rich and our HTC Prayer Ministers. This course is a wonderful introduction to the Healing Prayer Ministry, offering the scriptural basis for God’s gift of healing prayer and teaches the student how to be an effective prayer minister. Please sign up on the table in the Narthex and we look forward to seeing you in September!

All Sonkids parents! Please bring your child’s charm necklace to church and give it to Geri Smith. We need them to prepare for our Moving Up Ceremony on Sunday, September 13th. Thank you!

The beautiful needle point of the Last Supper, which now hangs in our Narthex, was given to Holy Trinity by the Nigerian church that the Aroh family once belonged to. We are so blessed to have this treasure! If you would like to give towards the framing cost, it would be greatly appreciated! There is a box near the hanging in the Narthex if you would like to contribute. Thank you so much!

Will you consider helping out once a month with the upkeep of the church grounds?  Weeding, trimming, grass mowing & weed whacking need to be done weekly.  Please sign up at the in the hallway. Thanks!

Bakers and packagers are still needed for our Farmer’s Market Outreach! YOU can be a part of this important ministry to our community right from your own kitchen! We really need your help, so please see Vicki Ray and ask her what you can do. Thank you so much!
