Announcements

The beautiful lilies adorning the Altar are being offered to the Glory of our Risen Lord and in loving memory and in thanksgiving for those listed on the Easter Lily insert.

You may take your lilies home today following the service.

Gather your gardening gloves, shovel and rake so we can make the House of God look great!  Our Spring Work Day is this Saturday, April 2nd beginning at 9:00 AM.  We will be wedding, trimming and mulching to beautify the grounds.  Please plan to come out and help.  Thank you.

The MDAS Synod and Retreat begins Thursday, April 7th at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City.  See Gloria TODAY if you would like to attend any of the sessions or the Friday evening dinner.  The retreat is Thursday evening through Saturday at noon, April 7 – 9.

Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study is Saturday, April 9th at 7:30 AM at DeNovo’s Restaurant in Ocean Pines.  Bring your bible and your appetite and join us!

The Women of Trinity will meet Monday, April 11th at 10:00 AM to continue their work on Operation Christmas Child.  Come join the fellowship and fun!

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes – the Women of Trinity thank you for your support as we prepare the shoeboxes.  We are about halfway there on soaps, washcloths and toothpaste so please keep them coming!  Again, thank you for all you do to help our project be a success!

The School of Healing Prayer Level II will being on Thursday, April 14th from 10:30 – noon.

Ministry of the Sick – if you know of someone in our church who is homebound from illness, recovering from surgery, etc., or is in the hospital or nursing care facility, and would like to receive Communion and prayer for healing, please see one of our deacons.

Sermon CDs are available each Sunday and may be purchased for $3 each.   Please see Butch or Cathy at the PA table and designate “CD” on your check.  Older sermons are on the table.

Today marks the beginning of Holy Week.   Please see the enclosed listing of Holy Week Services offered at Holy Trinity.  We hope you will join us in walking through the Passion of our Lord from Holy Thursday to Good Friday and to His glorious Resurrection on Easter Sunday!

Today is the last day to order Easter Lilies for the Altar on Easter Sunday.  Please see the yellow insert and place your order in the offering plate or basket in the Narthex.

Our Lenten Study and Supper will conclude this week, Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00 PM.  Please sign up in the hallway!  Thank you.

Good Friday for Anglicans is a day of fasting and special devotions for those who are able.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is being offered on Good Friday following the Good Friday Liturgy.  Please sign up at the information table in the Narthex.

The SonKids are getting ready for the Easter Egg Hunt after the service on Easter Sunday.   We are collecting plastic eggs, all sizes, as well as WRAPPED candy.   NO CHOCOLATE PLEASE!  Any chocolate will be considered a donation to the Sunday School Teachers.   Please leave donations in the middle Sunday school room.  Thank you for your support!

Daylight Saving Time begins next Sunday, March 13. Remember to SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD BEFORE BED on Saturday night!

The Vestry meets this Tuesday evening, March 8 at 7:00pm.

Our Lenten Supper & Study “ How to Pray” continues this Wednesday evening, March 9th. Supper is at 6:00 pm and the study will begin at 6:45 pm. Please sign up in the hallway each week!

Journey the Way of the Cross each Friday at 1:00 pm during Lent.This is a beautiful devotion and meditationtaking us on the journey with Jesus through His passion and death. Hope you can make this a part of your own Lenten journey.
